Our town

Hi!

Last time in English club we were at the center of Porvoo taking photos. The weather wasn’t very good but luckily it didn’t rain. We were about one and half hour at Porvoo’ s center then we gone back to school. I think that we had a pretty good time even when the weather wasn’t very sunny.

Porvoo is a little city on the south coast of Finland. It has a population of  49 380, it is bilingual city and the old side of Porvoo is pretty popular among tourists. It has also an old tram station, which isn’t are any more in use. Only museum trains make tours. 1762-64 built Porvoo’ s town hall (picture below) has been working as a museum since 1896. It is also the second remaining town hall in Finland.
